The beautiful 1st order inflorescence branches of this palas against the backdrop of its peltate (shield-shaped) fronds.

I grew 5 Licuala Peltata (Sumawongii) two large ones and both growing very well here in my little rainforest back yard at Buderim, Queensland, Australia. (SubTropical weather) anyone like to see photo of those Licuala Peltata
